Bank of China is one of the oldest as well as one of the most internationalized commercial banks in China with a history of more than a hundred years. The bank provides services to customers through its more than 550 institutions in 56 overseas countries and regions and plays an important role in supporting Chinese enterprises ”Going Global”. Bank of China is the most diversified Chinese bank. Besides its core business of Commercial Banking, it also provides Investment Banking, Assets Management, Insurance, Leasing services, etc.
Bank of China Frankfurt Branch was established in May of 1989 and was the first overseas branch of Chinese banks in Germany. Bank of China provides services for Sino-German commercial interaction; offers local enterprises, individuals and “Going Global” Chinese enterprises, local as well as overseas Chinese a full range of highly-qualified, efficient, safe, convenient and reliable services.
In order to be closer to customers so as to provide better services, Bank of China Hamburg Branch was founded in May of 1993. Furthermore, branches in Düsseldorf, Berlin, Munich and Stuttgart were opened since the year 2010 gradually. A Bank of China network covering all of Germany has been set up.
On 19th June 2014, Bank of China Frankfurt Branch was appointed as RMB-Clearing-Bank in Germany by the People’s Bank of China.
