Our activities in China
Experience, competence and market knowledge are the core strengths of CMS Hasche Sigle’s China team. At our office in Shanghai Chinese and German lawyers work together for more than five years offering European and Chinese investors on-site contact partners. Our local team has extensive expertise in advising on Chinese and German law and provides advice in Chinese (Mandarin), German and English. The tailor-made consulting services often extend beyond legal aspects – we share our detailed understanding of different mentalities and corporate cultures combined with in-depth awareness of the international economic environment. CMS Hasche Sigle took the lead on advising Chinese companies (e.g. ZhongDe Waste Technology and Asian Bamboo) on their IPO in the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Moreover, we advised on the merger between Combinature Biopharm, Germany, and MerLion Pharmaceuticals, Singapore, and supported several Chinese companies in the establishment of branches, registration of IPR and commercial disputes in Germany.
