Siemens in Hamburg can look back on more than 100 years. Energy, communications, mobility, health care – there is hardly an area of life where Siemens technology is missing. The Hamburg Regional Office is the headquarters of the Siemens Hanseatic Region; there are three more Regional Offices in Bremen, Mecklenburg-West Pomerania and Schleswig-Holstein. At the Hamburg location Siemens achieves sales of around EUR 387 million with a workforce of approximately 2000 – a figure that includes 135 apprentices as an investment for the future. Siemens in North Germany forms a strategic link to Eastern European markets, provides a distribution channel for all Siemens products and establishes an important base for ongoing business development.
